The Elkay LZWS‑ERPB8‑RF is a retrofit bottle filling station designed to upgrade existing Elkay EZ series coolers and fountains. Featuring filtered, refrigerated water delivery and touchless activation, it provides a modern hydration solution without replacing the entire unit.
Key Installation Requirements:
- Retrofit installation onto compatible Elkay EZ series coolers
- Cold water line connection (35–100°F operating temperature)
- Electrical supply: 115V / 60Hz grounded outlet
- Drain connection required for condensate
- Clearance for filter replacement and servicing
- Follow ADA guidelines for installation height
Important Notes Before Installing:
- Do not connect to hot water lines
- Always depressurize water line before servicing or replacing filter
- Use only genuine Elkay filters to maintain certification and performance
- Ensure cooler is properly leveled before retrofit installation
- Secure retrofit kit firmly to prevent vibration or leaks
Basic Installation Overview:
- Shut off water supply and disconnect cooler from power
- Remove existing front panel and prepare cooler for retrofit
- Install retrofit bottle filler assembly onto cooler frame
- Connect cold water supply line to inlet; flush line thoroughly
- Install filter cartridge into housing and lock into place
- Connect drain line to building drain system
