- Place sensor connector wire and shank through cover plate gasket and lavatory hole; orient black plastic mounting washer slot upward.
- Install mounting washer, star washer, and mounting nut; ensure sensor wires pass through slot without pinching.
- Attach sensor connector wire from faucet to electronics module; align pins carefully and secure with locking ring.
- Mount electronics module to shank using hex nut and gasket; tighten securely without thread sealant.
- For battery power: remove battery cover screw, install four AA alkaline batteries, and replace cover. For plug‑in power (-ACA option): remove sticker and connect adapter.
