A: Yes. The 1119FRP is specifically engineered for freeze-resistant operation. The pneumatic valves must be housed in an insulated indoor cabinet where temperatures remain above 50°F (10°C). When the unit is not in use, the water self-drains back into the waste line, preventing freeze damage.
Q: What type of wall is required for installation of the 1119FRP?
A: The unit is designed for recessed in-wall or surface mounting. Included 3/16" thick steel in-wall mounting plates provide extra structural support during installation. Wall thickness must accommodate the freeze-resistant valve cabinet and associated plumbing.
Q: Does the Haws 1119FRP Series include a water filter?
A: No, the 1119FRP Series does not include a water filter. It delivers unfiltered water directly from the supply line.
