Q: How often should the filter be replaced?
A: Replace the filter every 3,000 gallons or once per year, whichever comes first.
Q: What contaminants does the filter reduce?
A: The 6428 Carbon Block filter reduces lead, chlorine taste & odor, cysts, particulates, and microplastics, tested to NSF/ANSI 42/53/401 standards.
Q: Are multi-pack filters available?
A: Yes. In addition to the single 6428 filter, you can purchase the 6428-C multi-pack for convenience.
Q: What are the water supply requirements?
A: Minimum 40 psi flowing pressure, 1/2" IPS supply line, operating temperature range 40°F–100°F.
