It inhibits limescale formation to help extend the life of low-volume equipment such as single-pot coffee brewers. the Pentair EV910067 is rated for a maximum service flow of 0.5 GPM, uses 1/4" inlet and outlet connections, and is designed to be replaced every 6 months. It is a scale-prevention-only filter and does not reduce chlorine taste or odor.
Step-by-Step Replacement Guide
- Shut off the water supply to the filter and relieve pressure by opening a nearby faucet or the equipment's dispense valve until flow stops. Place a bucket and towel under the filter to catch residual water.
