- Ensure the Elkay EZ8WSSSMC is installed indoors only; ambient temperature must remain between 50°F–100°F (10℃–38℃).
- Confirm water supply pressure is between 20–105 psi; install a pressure regulator if supply exceeds 105 psi.
- Shut off the building water supply and disconnect electrical power before beginning installation.
- Remove the front cover and hanger bracket; fasten the hanger bracket securely to the wall using five screws in 7/16" diameter mounting holes. Use a fixture support carrier if the wall cannot support the load.
- Hang the cooler onto the bracket and secure with two mounting screws; connect the cooler water line to the shut‑off valve.
- Remove the bottle filler top cover with a 5/32" Allen wrench; install the wall mounting plate above the basin using six screws through the mounting holes.
- Feed the bottle filler power cord and 3/8" water line through the basin opening; set the bottle filler onto the basin and attach to the angled tabs on the mounting plate.
- Slide the bottle filler down to nest in place; reinstall the top cover and secure with screws.
- Connect the bottle filler water line inside the cooler; connect all drain and water supply fittings per local plumbing codes.
- Turn on water supply and check for leaks; correct any leaks before proceeding.
- Plug in the cooler and bottle filler; verify green LED filter status (if equipped) and LCD bottle counter display.
