A: The ZG6956-BN features Hydro X Power technology, which generates renewable hydropower from water flow as the primary power source, with a battery backup. Optional plug-in (-ACA) or hardwire (-CWB) power converter accessories are also available.
Q: Can the sensing range and timeout settings be adjusted after installation?
A: Yes. The ZG6956-BN is Bluetooth-enabled and compatible with Zurn Elkay's PlumbPro app, allowing wireless adjustment of timeout duration (default 30 seconds), sensor range, sensing modes, and hygienic line flushing without removing the faucet.
Q: Is the ZG6956-BN lead-free and safe for potable water use?
A: Yes. The ZG6956-BN is constructed from durable brass and is fully lead-free compliant, meeting the Safe Drinking Water Act requirement of no more than 0.25% weighted average lead content on wetted surfaces, and is NSF 61 and NSF 372 certified.
