Typical Installation:
The Zurn 38-740 can be installed in horizontal or vertical position on carbonated beverage dispensing systems as well as non-carbonated systems to prevent carbon dioxide gas or carbonated water from coming in contact with copper potable water supply lines. Under certain conditions the Zurn 38-740 may discharge water from the vent port. Provisions must be made to ensure that discharge will not damage surrounding property or equipment. Copper tubing shall not be used downstream of this unit.
