Orders that ship directly from a manufacturer normally have a firm shipping estimate but those dates are subject to change due to manufacturer production, inventory or shipping. We do our best to estimate ship dates but orders shipping directly from the manufacturer can have unexpected delays. We will confirm tracking information when orders ship directly from a manufacturer but may not have updates or estimates beyond the original estimate. Once your order is placed with the manufacturer, it may not be able to be cancelled even if it hasn't shipped yet.

A: The air gap fitting is required for indoor installations to prevent submersion and ensure proper drainage. Outdoor installations may use a protective enclosure instead.
Q: What size drain is needed below this backflow preventer?
A: The assembly must be installed 12 to 30 inches above an adequate drain with sufficient capacity to handle the relief valve discharge port size of 1.19 square inches for the 1 1/4 inch model.
NOTICE: Do not use with water that is unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection either before or after the system.
