  1. Identify the Installation Location: Choose a location where the filter will be easily accessible for maintenance and cartridge replacement. Ensure there’s enough clearance around the filter for easy installation and servicing.

  2. Mount the Filter Head: Securely mount the filter head to a wall or a panel near the ice machine, making sure it’s in a vertical position with the cartridges hanging down.

  3. Install the Cartridge: Insert the cartridge into the filter head. Make sure it’s firmly seated and locked in place.

  4. Connect Water Supply: Attach the incoming water line to the inlet side of the filter head. Ensure all connections are secure to prevent leaks.

  5. Flush the System: Before connecting the outlet side to your ice machine, flush the system according to the manufacturer’s instructions to remove any carbon fines and to ensure the system is filled with water.

  6. Connect to Ice Machine: After flushing, connect the outlet side of the filter to the water inlet of your ice machine.
