Q: Is the Haws 1011.8SF suitable for outdoor installation?
A: No. The 1011.8SF is designed for indoor use only. It is not recommended for outdoor applications or enclosed pool areas, as such conditions may void the warranty.
Q: How often does the filter need to be replaced on the 1011.8SF?
A: The filter should be replaced every 3,000 gallons or once per year — whichever occurs first. The replacement filter is Haws Part No. 6428.
Q: Are the waterways on the Haws 1011.8SF lead-free?
A: Yes. The 1011.8SF features 100% lead-free waterways and is certified to NSF/ANSI/CAN 61-2020, NSF/ANSI/CAN 372, California Proposition 65, and the Federal Safe Drinking Water Act.
