Q: Is the unit ADA compliant?
A: Yes. The EMABFTL8LC meets ADA and ICC A117.1 accessibility requirements when installed correctly.
Q: Can both bubblers operate simultaneously?
A: Simultaneous operation requires a minimum of 65 PSI supply pressure. Lower pressure may limit dual use.
Q: What water pressure is required?
A: The cooler is designed to operate on 20–105 PSI supply line pressure. If pressure exceeds 105 PSI, a regulator must be installed.
Q: Can I change the Flexi‑Guard® bubbler to a vandal‑resistant bubbler?
A: Yes. While the EMABFTL8LC comes standard with Flexi‑Guard® safety bubblers, you can replace them with the Elkay 97446C Vandal‑Resistant Bubbler Replacement Kit for added durability in high‑traffic or public environments.
NOTICE: The cooler must be connected to the water supply using a dielectric coupling. Installer‑provided drain traps should be plastic to isolate the cooler from building plumbing systems.
