Installation
To install Elkay & Halsey Taylor Freestanding, Outdoor Bottle Filling Stations, ensure the surface is smooth, flat, and finished, capable of supporting at least 300 lbs. Protect the unit from extreme temperatures if it’s in a non-temperature-controlled environment. A licensed plumber should perform the installation, and a shut-off valve must be installed on the water supply (not included).
- Refer to the rough-in for plumbing.
- Secure the unit with 3/8" fasteners (not included).
- Connect the water supply and drain lines, adhering to local codes. Use a 3/8" O.D. unplated copper tube for the water supply and a 1-1/2" IPS for waste.
- Flush the copper lines to remove debris before connecting. Push tubes straight into fittings without soldering.
- Position the drain pipe and aesthetic collar correctly, then secure the bottle filler with the provided hardware.
Maintenance
To keep your Elkay & Halsey Taylor Bottle Filling Station in optimal condition:
- Clean the exterior regularly with a soft cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Inspect water connections for leaks regularly.
- Ensure the water inlet pressure is between 20-105 PSI. Use a pressure-reducing regulator if it exceeds 105 PSI.
- Winterize the unit if it’s in a non-temperature-controlled environment.
- Flush the supply lines regularly to prevent sediment buildup.

A: Outdoor Bottle Filling Stations come standard in Evergreen, which typically has a lead time of 10–15 business days. See other color options below, which have a lead time of ~20–30 business days.
Q: What makes the Outdoor Freeze Resistant Bottle Filler, Freeze Resistant?
A: The valve is designed to be installed 18” below the frost line. In addition, 60” of tubing is provided.
Q: Are filtered versions of Outdoor Bottle Filling Stations available?
A: Unlike Indoor EZH2O Bottle Filling Stations, Outdoor Bottle Fillers don’t come with a filtered option. However, it is quite common to create inline filtration by ordering and properly installing a separate WaterSentry Plus Filter Kit. If this is desired, we will need to create a custom order.

Q: Are refrigerated versions of Outdoor Bottle Filling Stations available?
A: Outdoor Bottle Fillers do not come with chillers because of the risk presented from outdoor elements, especially in the cold. However, if installed with proper shelter and temperature, a remote chiller can be hooked up to the Bottle Filler, which can especially be beneficial in warmer climates. Please contact us for further details.

A: Yes, Elkay Bottle Filling Stations are very durable. They are made with heavy-duty steel with a textured powder-coat finish and E-coat immersion for year-round protection with minimum maintenance.

Premium shipping
Premium shipping rates DO include inside delivery and/or lift gate services. Premium shipping is only available for freight deliveries (those that have refrigerated units, or some very large orders without refrigerated units).
**Note: If Standard Shipping is selected at time of purchase, and inside delivery is requested of the carrier by the consignee at time of delivery, an additional fee will be charged, and the consignee will be responsible.
Rates
Shipping fees vary depending on the state and order size. Standard shipping rates are described below.
*Premium shipping is also available on freight deliveries (those with refrigerated units, or some very large non-refrigerated orders). Premium rates are an extra $65 in addition to the Standard rate, and include inside delivery and lift gate service.
Please note that shipping rates are subject to change at any time. We reserve the right to charge an additional fee in addition to the regularly advertised shipping fee for shipping to remote areas not easily accessible by typical freight carrier means (i.e. islands only accessible by ferry). If your order falls into this category, you will be notified upon receipt of your order, and have the option to complete the purchase with additional fee or to cancel the order.
