FAQ
Q: Does this water cooler include a filter?
A: No, it is a non-filtered unit. The optional EWF172 Universal Filtration Kit (1500-gallon) can be added if filtration is needed.
Q: Can both bubblers be used at the same time?
A: Simultaneous use may not be possible depending on supply pressure. A minimum of 65 psi is recommended for refrigerated installations where both bubblers will run at once.
Q: What does the installation require?
A: The cooler mounts on the wall for indoor use. It needs a dielectric coupling on the water supply, a plastic drain trap, GFCI-protected power, and at least 6" of clearance from the cabinet louvers to the wall for ventilation.
NOTICE: Do not use with water that is unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection either before or after the system.

The Elkay EZSTL8C is a wall-mounted, refrigerated bi-level drinking fountain. It is also available in Stainless Steel (EZSTL8SC) and Light Gray Granite (EZSTL8LC).
Before You Begin
- Tools: Drill, wall-appropriate fasteners, screwdriver, level, and a 1-1/2" trap (not included).
- Plumbing: Provide a 3/8" O.D. unplated copper water supply with shutoff valve, extending no more than 3" from the wall, and a 1-1/2" nominal drain stub extending 2" from the wall.
- Electrical and ventilation: Provide a recessed 3-wire duplex outlet with GFCI protection for new installations. Maintain at least 6" clearance between cabinet louvers and the wall.
- Wall support: Secure the hanger bracket through all six 1/4" mounting holes. Use a fixture support carrier if the wall cannot provide adequate support.
- Reference: Consult the owner's manual for mounting heights and detailed instructions.
Step-by-Step Installation Guide
- Prepare the bracket: Remove the hanger bracket from the cooler and mount it at the height specified in the owner's manual. Secure all six mounting holes.
- Mount the cooler: Hang the unit on the bracket, ensuring it engages correctly with the rear slots.
- Connect plumbing: Remove the lower front panel. Connect the water inlet to the 3/8" supply and attach the waste line to the trap using the slip nut and gasket. Adjust the drain tube if needed according to the manual.
- Check for leaks: Turn on the water supply and inspect all connections. Correct any leaks before proceeding.
- Restore power and adjust: Plug in the unit; electrical power is required for water to flow. Check the stream, factory-set for 35 PSI. Adjust the screw in the right knee clearance area clockwise to raise the stream or counterclockwise to lower it. Aim for the basin approximately 6-1/2" from the bubbler. If water continues flowing after the compressor cycle ends, turn the cold control 1/4 turn counterclockwise.
- Reassemble: Reinstall the lower front panel, ensuring the metal wrapper fits inside the upper shroud, and secure it with the four screws.
