- Turn off the water supply and unplug the unit before starting.
- Mount the filter head and bracket securely to the wall, leaving enough space below for cartridge changes.
- Connect the cold water supply line to the shut‑off valve and then to the filter inlet using 3/8" tubing.
- Connect the outlet of the pre‑filter to the inlet of the downstream carbon filter.
- If using the vandal‑resistant box (EFPF5MVRBC), mount it in a suitable location and connect tubing as directed.
- Turn the water supply back on and flush the system by running water through the bubbler or bottle filler until clear.
- For detailed steps, refer to the installation manual provided in the package or contact a licensed plumber.
- Replace the sediment pre‑filter every 6 months or sooner if water flow slows down.
- Turn off the inlet valve before replacing the filter to avoid spills.
- Twist out the old cartridge, insert the new one, and turn clockwise until secure.
- Check all connections for leaks after replacement.
- Wipe the exterior with a soft cloth and mild cleaner.
- For service or repairs, consult the manual or a licensed technician.
