A: No. It is mechanically activated by a front bubbler button and needs no electrical connection, so it works anywhere a water supply and drain are available.

A: The fountain is supplied non-filtered. The optional EWF172 Universal Filtration Kit (1500-Gallon) can be added for filtered water.
Q: What is included with the fountain?
A: It ships with the fountain and an MPW101 in-wall back mounting plate. It ships in multiple boxes.
