Installation
- Ensure the wall is structurally sound to support the Halsey Taylor HTHB‑HAC8BLSS‑WF; install a fixture support carrier if required.
- Maintain proper clearances: 6" minimum from cabinet louvers to wall for ventilation; follow ADA height requirements (reduce by 3" for children’s cooler).
- Remove hanger bracket from back of cooler; mount securely to wall using all five 7/16" diameter holes. Maintain 6‑1/4" dimension from wall to trap centerline.
- Hang cooler on bracket, ensuring slots engage properly; remove front panel by loosening four screws.
- Connect water inlet line to 3/8" O.D. copper tube with shut‑off valve; purge line before connection.
- Connect cooler waste line to 1‑1/2" O.D. drain stub using slip nut and gasket; tighten securely.
- Install bottle filler: remove top cover, mount wall plate above basin, feed power cord and 3/8" water line through basin opening, and secure filler to angled tabs on wall plate.
- Install gasket and support bracket under bottle filler tower; reinstall top cover with screws.
- Connect bottle filler waterline inside cooler to tee fitting; install WaterSentry® Plus filter cartridge by inserting into filter head and rotating clockwise.
- Turn on water supply, inspect for leaks, and correct before restoring power.
- Plug cooler and bottle filler into grounded outlet; verify green LED filter status and LCD bottle counter display.
- Test dispensing by placing bottle or hand in front of sensor; purge air until flow is steady.
- For detailed steps, refer to the Halsey Taylor HTHB‑HAC8BLSS‑WF installation manual or contact a licensed plumber/electrician.
Maintenance
- Inspect water and drain connections regularly; reseal or tighten fittings as needed.
- Replace WaterSentry® Plus filter cartridge when LED indicator shows red or after rated capacity; reset filter monitor via program button.
- Clean exterior surfaces with mild soap and water; avoid abrasive cleaners that may damage finish.
- Check bubbler stream height; adjust regulator screw to maintain approximately 1‑1/2" above guard.
- Clean aerator and nozzle periodically to remove mineral deposits; replace regulator or aerator kit if flow is restricted.
- Disconnect power and water supply before servicing internal components to avoid hazards.
- For service or repairs, consult the manual or a certified service representative.
