Elkay EMASM installation guide

Installation

  • Ensure the wall is structurally sound to bear the load of the Elkay EMASM surface‑mount bottle filler; install a wall support carrier if required.
  • Confirm ambient operating temperature is between 50°F–100°F (10℃–38℃); indoor use only.
  • Shut off the building water supply and attach a service stop valve with 3/8" compression outlet; purge line and check for leaks.
  • Remove the top cover (two screws) and bottom cover (two screws) using a 5/32" hex wrench; remove the back panel.
  • Fasten the back panel to the wall through five 7/16" obround mounting holes using fasteners appropriate for wall type; align with rough‑in dimensions.
  • Route the insulated waterline inside the wrapper before hanging the unit; reposition if necessary.
  • Hang the bottle filler onto the back panel, aligning tabs at the top; secure by reinstalling the top cover and fastening with two screws.
  • Replace the bottom cover and fasten with two screws; ensure proper fit over water and drain lines.
  • Connect the 3/8" O.D. copper waterline from the in‑line strainer to the service stop valve.
  • Connect the 1‑1/4" O.D. drain tray outlet to the in‑wall drain line using a slip joint union or compression clamp (not supplied).
  • Turn on water supply, inspect for leaks, and correct any leaks before use.
  • For detailed steps, refer to the Elkay EMASM installation manual or contact a licensed plumber.

Maintenance

  • Inspect water connections regularly for leaks; tighten or reseal as needed.
  • Clean exterior surfaces with mild soap and water; avoid abrasive cleaners that may damage finish.
  • Check bubbler or actuator button for proper operation; adjust regulator screw if stream height varies.
  • Clean aerator and nozzle periodically to remove mineral deposits; replace regulator or aerator kit if flow is restricted.
  • Disconnect water supply before servicing internal components to avoid hazards.
  • For service or repairs, consult the manual or a certified service representative.
