- Mount the EcO3Ice unit on the wall near your ice machine (within about 3 feet).
- Connect the water line into the “IN” side of the unit, then connect the outlet line to the ice machine.
- Make sure all tubing connections are tight and leak‑free.
- Plug the unit into a power outlet; the green light will show it’s on.
- Only use clean, cold water for the system.
- For detailed steps, refer to the installation manual provided in the package or contact a licensed technician.
- Check the LED lights on the unit:
- Green = working normally
- Yellow = cartridge needs replacing soon
- Red = replace cartridge now
- Replace the cartridge every 6–24 months depending on ice machine size and usage (smaller machines last longer, larger machines need more frequent changes).
- To replace: unplug the unit, close the water valve, twist out the old cartridge, insert the new one, then turn water and power back on.
- Wipe the outside with a soft cloth; do not spray water directly on the unit.
- For service or repairs, consult the manual or a licensed technician.
