Basic Installation & Testing Overview:
- Flush water through test cocks #1–#4 to remove foreign material
- Connect high side hose to #2 test cock and low side hose to #3 test cock
- Bleed air from hoses and gauge using bleed needle valves
- Close #2 shutoff valve and observe pressure drop across #1 check valve
- Bypass water between #2 and #3 test cocks to observe relief valve opening
- Test #2 check valve for tightness against reverse flow
- Record static pressure drop across #1 check valve (≥5.0 psid required)
- Complete additional tests for Double Check Valve and Pressure Vacuum Breaker assemblies as outlined in manual
