INSTALLATION
- Ensure all plumbing installations adhere to relevant codes and regulations.
- Water supply lines should be appropriately sized to accommodate each fixture's water volume requirements.
- Prior to connection, flush all water lines thoroughly.
- Avoid using pipe sealant or plumbing grease on any fitting except the control stop inlet.
- Place sensor units away from highly reflective surfaces and avoid positioning them directly across from each other.
- Never open the control stop beyond the fixture's evacuation capacity. In case of valve malfunction, the fixture must handle continuous flow safely.
MAINTENANCE
- Avoid using abrasive or chemical cleaners on the flushometer.
- For chrome-plated surfaces, clean with mild soap and water, then dry. Avoid using commercial cleaning compounds.
- When cleaning other restroom areas, ensure that sensor lenses are shielded from cleaning chemicals/solvents to prevent damage to sensors or electronics.
- For valves installed in areas prone to cold and freezing conditions and subject to shut down, maintenance should be carried out as follows: Once the main water supply has been turned off and the system drained, remove the cap and internals of the stop valve. This action allows the water to drain from the flush valve itself, preventing potential damage from freezing temperatures.
