Basic Installation Overview:
- Close upstream shut‑off valve and open downstream faucet to relieve pressure
- Note adjustment bolt height, then loosen locknut and back out bolt
- Remove bell housing, spring, spring disc, and friction ring
- Extract old cartridge assembly using pliers on retaining bolt
- Flush valve body to remove debris and inspect surfaces
- Lubricate o‑rings on new cartridge with silicone grease and insert until seated
- Reinstall friction ring, spring, spring disc, and bell housing
- Thread adjustment bolt back to recorded height and tighten locknut
- Slowly open upstream valve, purge air, and check for leaks
- Adjust outlet pressure as needed using a downstream gauge
