Installation
- Designed for indoor use only; do not install outdoors or in humid environments.
- Mount securely to wall using hanger bracket and proper fasteners; add carrier support if wall is insufficient.
- Connect 3/8" O.D. copper water supply line with installer-supplied shut-off valve.
- Install 1-1/4" waste outlet pipe and P-trap per local plumbing codes.
- Provide grounded 115V, 60Hz, 20A dedicated electrical outlet with GFCI protection.
- If installation is difficult, contact a licensed plumber or authorized Elkay service technician.
Maintenance
- Inspect water and drain connections periodically for leaks.
- Replace filter cartridge annually or after 3,000 gallons (LZ filtered units only).
- Reset filter monitor and bottle count as needed via programming button.
- Clean sensor lens and basin with non-abrasive cleaner to maintain performance.
- Verify proper dispensing and LED filter status during routine facility checks.
NOTICE
- Water supply pressure must be between 20–105 psi (40 psi minimum for filtered units).
- Do not use piercing-type saddle valves; use dielectric coupling to isolate cooler from building plumbing.
