Installation
- Install in cold water applications only (40–100 °F / 5–38 ℃).
- Run water through the system for 10 minutes after installing a new cartridge to flush carbon particles and air bubbles.
- Check for leaks after installation.
- Follow all state and local plumbing regulations.
- If installation is difficult, contact a licensed professional or authorized Haws service technician.
Maintenance
- Replace filter cartridges every 1 year or after 3,000 gallons (11,356 L), whichever comes first.
- Inspect periodically for leaks or reduced flow.
- Do not use with microbiologically unsafe or unknown‑quality water without adequate disinfection.
- Consistent replacement is essential to maintain certified performance.
NOTICE
- Activated carbon block filters are not designed to remove bacteria or viruses.
