They provide premium water quality for fountain, coffee, and ice machine applications.
Key Installation Requirements:
- System must be depressurized before cartridge replacement
- Install vertically with cartridge hanging down
- Allow at least 2‑1/2" clearance below filter head for removal
- Flush cartridge for 5 minutes at full flow after installation
- Use only genuine Everpure MC2 cartridges for certified performance
Important Notes Before Installing:
- Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection
- Replace cartridge every 6 months, or sooner if flow rate/pressure drops
- Ensure proper support of filter head and bracket to avoid strain on fittings
- Certified to NSF/ANSI Standards 42 & 53 for chlorine, taste & odor, cyst, and particulate reduction

Basic Replacement Overview:
- Turn off water supply and depressurize system
- Remove used cartridge by rotating counterclockwise
- Unpack new cartridge and remove protective cap
- Insert cartridge into filter head and rotate clockwise until fully seated
- Turn water supply back on and flush for 5 minutes at full flow
- Check all connections for leaks before returning system to service
