The Everpure EV910008 (IN-10, 6 Pack) is a 10" inline granular activated carbon filter with KDF media for low-volume coffee brewers, espresso machines, and ice makers. It reduces chlorine taste and odor and inhibits scale buildup to help protect your equipment.
Step-by-Step Replacement Guide
- Shut off the water supply to the filter and relieve pressure by opening a nearby faucet or the equipment's dispense valve until flow stops. Place a bucket and towel under the filter to catch residual water.
- Disconnect the 1/4" inlet and outlet water lines from the old IN-10 filter, then remove the used filter from its mounting position behind the equipment.
- Inspect the water lines and fittings for wear, kinks, or debris, and trim or replace any damaged tubing as needed to ensure a proper seal.
- Wrap the threads of your 1/4" fittings with PTFE tape and connect the new IN-10 filter, attaching the supply line to the inlet and the line to your equipment to the outlet, with the filter in the correct flow direction.
- Turn the water supply back on slowly and check both connections closely for leaks.
- Flush the filter at full flow for 3 minutes before returning the system to service, then note the install date so it can be replaced in 6 months.
