The Everpure 300-05832 (CTOS-QCR) is a 15" Qwik-Twist replacement cartridge for OptiPure QTI series foodservice filtration systems. The Pentair 300-05832 uses catalytic carbon to reduce chloramines and filters sediment down to 0.5 micron. Its IsoNet scale-inhibiting technology helps protect equipment against scale and corrosion.
Step-by-Step Replacement Guide
- Shut off the water supply to the system and relieve pressure by opening a nearby faucet or the equipment's dispense valve until flow stops. Place a bucket under the system to catch residual water, and make sure there is at least 3" of clearance below it for removing the cartridge.
- Rotate the old CTOS-QCR cartridge a quarter turn to release it from the filter head, then pull it straight down and out.
- Inspect the filter head for debris or damage, and wipe the area clean so the new cartridge will seat properly.
- Align the new CTOS-QCR cartridge with the filter head, push it up into place, and rotate it a quarter turn in the opposite direction until it locks.
- Turn the cold water supply back on slowly and check the cartridge and fittings closely for leaks.
- Run water through the system to purge trapped air before returning it to service, then note the install date.
