Step-by-Step Replacement Guide
- Shut off the water supply to the system and relieve pressure by opening a nearby faucet or the equipment's dispense valve until flow stops. Place a bucket under the system to catch residual water, and make sure there is at least 3" of clearance below it for removing the cartridge.
- Rotate the old CTOS-Q10 cartridge a quarter turn to release it from the filter head, then pull it straight down and out.
- Inspect the filter head for debris or damage, and wipe the area clean so the new cartridge will seat properly.
- Align the new CTOS-Q10 cartridge with the filter head, push it up into place, and rotate it a quarter turn in the opposite direction until it locks.
- Turn the water supply back on slowly and check the cartridge and fittings closely for leaks.
- Run water through the system at full flow to flush trapped air and loose carbon fines before returning it to service, then note the install date.
