Installation
To install your Elkay Pro Filtration Bottle Filler (Single or Bi-Level), follow the steps carefully. This unit requires plumbing and electrical work, so if you're unsure or unqualified, please contact a licensed plumber or professional installer.
- Confirm your installation location is indoors and has proper clearance for ventilation and service access.
- Ensure water supply pressure is between 40–105 psi (50 psi recommended).
- Install a 3/8" O.D. copper water line and a shutoff valve (installer-supplied).
- Attach the hanger bracket to the wall studs using appropriate anchors and screws.
- Mount the cooler and connect the water supply and 1-1/4" waste drain (installer-supplied).
- Connect the unit to a GFCI-protected 115V power outlet on a dedicated 20A circuit.
- Ensure all tubing and fittings are properly connected and free of leaks.
- Flush at least 1 gallon of water through the filter before first use.
Important: Avoid drilling into areas with hidden plumbing or electrical lines. Use proper tools and personal protective equipment. Improper installation may void warranty and cause damage or injury.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures your Elkay Pro Filtration unit continues to operate safely and efficiently:

- Before replacing the filter, unplug the unit and turn off the water supply.
- Open the access panel using a T25 screwdriver and remove the old filter by turning it counterclockwise.
- Insert the new filter and turn clockwise until it locks into place.
- Restore water supply and power, then press the filter reset button to clear the status indicator.
- Maintain water pressure within the specified range (40–105 psi).
- Clean the exterior surfaces using a soft cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Periodically inspect tubing, connectors, and the drain line for signs of wear or leaks.
