Installation
- Place the unit in the desired location and anchor it securely to the floor.
- Connect the drain outlet to a P‑trap (installer supplied) and check for leaks.
- Connect the cold water supply line (3/8" O.D. tubing) to the shut‑off valve and then to the filter inlet.
- Install the filter by removing the protective cap, marking the date, and twisting it into the filter head until secure.
- Reconnect the top access panel and tighten screws.
- Plug the unit into a grounded GFCI electrical outlet (115V, 20A dedicated circuit recommended).
- Turn on the water supply, check all connections, and flush at least 2 gallons of water to clear air and carbon particles.
- For detailed steps, refer to the installation manual provided in the package or contact a licensed plumber/electrician.
Maintenance
- Replace the filter every 12 months or when the status light turns red.
- Green light = good filter, Yellow = replace soon, Red = replace now.
- To replace: shut off water and power, remove the old filter, insert the new one, restore power and water, then flush 2 gallons.
- Clean stainless steel with mild soap and water; dry with a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Check drain and water connections regularly for leaks.
- For service or repairs, consult the manual or a licensed technician.
