Q: Which hand dryer models is the 17-10160K compatible with?
A: The 17-10160K retrofit kit is designed to cover the recessed box opening from any World Dryer Model A or Model M (Airmax) hand dryer, and provides the mounting point for the World Dryer SLIMdri® L-Series hand dryer. It is also compatible with the VERDEdri® hand dryer series. Note: the hand dryer itself is sold separately.
Q: Does the 17-10160K include the SLIMdri® hand dryer?
A: No — the 17-10160K includes only the stainless steel cover plate and securing bracket. The SLIMdri® L-Series hand dryer must be purchased separately.
Q: What wall depth is required for installation?
A: The SLIMdri® hand dryer installed with the 17-10160K protrudes only 3.9 inches from the wall surface, which exceeds ADA requirements for the 4-inch protrusion rule — making it a fully compliant surface-mount solution without requiring any wall recessing.
NOTICE: Do not use with water that is unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection either before or after the system.
