A: No. The EF-6000 is designed to deliver filtered water directly through your existing cold water tap, eliminating the need for an additional dedicated faucet — making installation simpler and more convenient.
Q: How do I know when it's time to replace the cartridge?
A: Replace the cartridge when the 6,000-gallon capacity has been reached, when the water flow becomes noticeably slow, or at minimum once per year — whichever comes first. The built-in water shutoff makes cartridge changes quick and tool-free.
Q: Is the EV985500 certified to remove harmful contaminants like lead and cysts?
