A: Yes. The LVRC8WSK is designed for indoor and outdoor use. In non‑temperature‑controlled environments, the unit must be winterized or protected from extreme heat to prevent damage.
Q: What Filter Does the LVRC8WSK Use?

- Install the wall mounting plate securely to the wall at the rough‑in dimensions; ensure adequate support structure or use a fixture carrier if required.
- Mount the Elkay LVRC8WSK cooler onto the wall bracket and secure with fasteners; connect drain and water inlet per rough‑in diagram.
- Do not connect power at this stage; leave electrical supply off until water connections are complete.
- Remove the LVRC bottle filler from carton; feed the power cord and waterline through the hole on top of the cooler basin.
- Place the bottle filler onto the basin mounting bracket and gasket; tighten the two side screws provided. Install the top cover with supplied screws; do not overtighten.
- Install insulation on the waterline and connect the 3/8" waterline from the bottle filler to the tee inside the cooler.
- For filtered models, install the WaterSentry® Plus filter cartridge by inserting into the filter head and rotating clockwise until secure.
- Turn on water supply and inspect all connections for leaks; correct any leaks before proceeding.
- Restore electrical power; plug in cooler and bottle filler. Verify green LED filter status and LCD bottle counter display.
- Test dispensing by pressing the bottle filler button; purge air from the line until flow is steady.
- Reinstall lower panel on cooler; unit is now ready for use.
