Typical Installation:
Designed for installation on potable water lines to protect against both backsiphonage and backpressure of polluted water into the water supply. The assembly shall be mounted at a minimum of 12 inches and a maximum of 30 inches above adequate drains with sufficient side clearance for testing and maintenance. If installed below grade, adequate drainage must be provided to prevent the device from being submerged. Installation must comply with local codes and the latest edition of the Uniform Plumbing Code.
