It should be mounted with sufficient side clearance for testing and maintenance in accordance with local codes and the latest edition of the Uniform Plumbing Code. Multiple installations are recommended for wide demand variations or where the desired pressure reduction is more than 4 to 1 ratio. For PEX tube installations, do not exceed the rated pressure or temperature of the tube.
