FAQ

Q: What is the difference between the Hoshizaki KM-660MAJ-E and KM-622MAK?

A: The KM-622MAK switches from R-404A to the more environmentally friendly R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant with a much smaller charge, and slightly improves ice output at 70°F/50°F conditions and energy efficiency, though it produces a bit less ice under hotter 90°F/70°F conditions. It also draws slightly less amperage and adds documented water usage specs.
