Q: What is the difference between the Haws H1109.8 and the 1109.8?
A: There is no functional difference. The H1109.8 and 1109.8 are essentially the same product with different naming. Haws often uses the “H” prefix in some listings or documentation, but it refers to the same product.
Q: Is the Haws H1109.8 suitable for outdoor installation?
A: No. The Haws H1109.8 is designed for indoor use only. It is not recommended for outdoor applications or enclosed pool areas, as chlorine and outdoor conditions may void the warranty.
Q: Can a bottle filler be added to the Haws H1109.8?
A: Yes. The Haws Model 1920 bottle filler can be mounted above the H1109.8 drinking fountain. The Model 6469 drip tray accessory is also available for combining the two units seamlessly.
Q: Does the Haws H1109.8 include a water filter?
A: The unit does not include a water filter by default. However, the optional Model 6480 filter kit — featuring a 3,000-gallon carbon block filter, filter head, and mounting bracket — can be added for filtered drinking water.
