Q: Can the Haws 1202SFH be installed over an existing competitor's rough-in?
A: Yes. The 1202SFH features a specially designed internal configuration that allows it to retrofit over many existing competitor rough-ins, including select models from Elkay/Halsey Taylor, Oasis, Sunroc, and Murdock. Always verify drain, electrical, and water service locations before installation.
Q: What happens when the filter reaches its capacity?
A: The Electronic Lifecycle Control automatically shuts off water flow once the 3,000-gallon filter capacity is reached. Water flow will only resume after a new filter cartridge is installed, ensuring water quality is never compromised.
Q: Is the Haws 1202SFH suitable for outdoor use?
A: No. The 1202SFH is rated for indoor use only. It is not recommended for outdoor applications or enclosed pool areas where chlorine exposure may be present, as these conditions may void the warranty.
