Q: Is the Haws 1001.8B suitable for outdoor installation?
A: No. The 1001.8B is designed for indoor use only. It is not recommended for outdoor applications or enclosed pool areas, as chlorine and outdoor conditions may void the warranty.
Q: Can a bottle filler be added to the Haws 1001.8B?
A: Yes. The optional Model 1920 stainless steel bottle filler can be mounted above the 1001.8B fountain. An optional Model BTL1001 add-on stand is also available for bottle placement when the 1920 bottle filler is in use.
Q: Can a water filter be added to the Haws 1001.8B?
A: Yes. The optional Model 6480 filter kit — which includes a 3,000-gallon carbon block filter, filter head, and mounting bracket — can be added to the 1001.8B for filtered water delivery.
