Q: Is the Haws 1011.8S Series suitable for outdoor installation?
A: No. The 1011.8S Series is designed for indoor use only. Outdoor environments or enclosed pool areas with chlorine exposure are not recommended and may void the warranty.
Q: What is included for mounting the unit?
A: The 1011.8S Series includes a heavy-duty 16-gauge galvanized steel mounting frame (MTGFR.LG) and an in-wall steel mounting plate (6700). These are supplied with the unit for proper wall installation.
Q: Can the fountain valve be serviced without removing the entire unit?
A: Yes. The all stainless-steel valve body is machined from solid bar stock and is fully front-accessible, allowing the water control cartridge and integral supply strainer to be serviced directly through the push button assembly.
NOTICE: Do not use with water that is unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection either before or after the system.
