- Install cartridge vertically with filter head above and cartridge hanging down; allow clearance for replacement.
- Connect cold water supply using quick‑connect fittings or shut‑off valve as required.
- Flush new cartridge at full flow for at least 5 minutes to purge air and carbon particles.
- Ensure operating pressure is within 10–125 psi and temperature between 35–100°F.
- For detailed steps, refer to the installation manual provided in the package or contact a licensed plumber.
- Replace cartridge annually or when rated gallon capacity is reached, whichever comes first.
- Replace sooner if flow becomes inconveniently slow or pressure falls below 10 psi.
- Inspect fittings and tubing periodically for leaks; reseat if necessary.
