A: Outdoor Bottle Filling Stations come standard in Evergreen, with a lead time of 15–20 business days. Other colors (Black, Blue, Gray, and custom options) typically have a lead time of 20–30 business days.
Q: What makes the Outdoor Freeze Resistant Bottle Filler freeze resistant?
A: The valve is designed to be installed 18” below the frost line. In addition, 60” of tubing is provided to protect against freezing and ensure safe operation.
Q: Are filtered versions of Outdoor Bottle Filling Stations available?
A: Unlike Indoor EZH2O Bottle Filling Stations, Outdoor Bottle Fillers do not come with a filtered option. However, inline filtration can be added by ordering and properly installing a separate WaterSentry® Plus Filter Kit. This requires a custom order.

Installation
To install Elkay & Halsey Taylor Freestanding, Outdoor Bottle Filling Stations, ensure the surface is smooth, flat, and finished, capable of supporting at least 300 lbs. Protect the unit from extreme temperatures if it’s in a non-temperature-controlled environment. A licensed plumber should perform the installation, and a shut-off valve must be installed on the water supply (not included).
- Refer to the rough-in for plumbing.
- Secure the unit with 3/8" fasteners (not included).
- Connect the water supply and drain lines, adhering to local codes. Use a 3/8" O.D. unplated copper tube for the water supply and a 1-1/2" IPS for waste.
- Flush the copper lines to remove debris before connecting. Push tubes straight into fittings without soldering.
- Position the drain pipe and aesthetic collar correctly, then secure the bottle filler with the provided hardware.
Maintenance
To keep your Elkay & Halsey Taylor Bottle Filling Station in optimal condition:
- Clean the exterior regularly with a soft cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Inspect water connections for leaks regularly.
- Ensure the water inlet pressure is between 20-105 PSI. Use a pressure-reducing regulator if it exceeds 105 PSI.
- Winterize the unit if it’s in a non-temperature-controlled environment.
- Flush the supply lines regularly to prevent sediment buildup.
