Owner's Guide For 51300C Replacement Catridges

Installation

  • Disconnect the power to the unit to avoid the risk of electric shock.
  • Securely mount the filter head to the provided bracket, ensuring the filter cartridge will be positioned above the head.
  • Connect the water inlet and outlet tubes to the filter head.
  • Shut off the water supply before starting the installation to prevent leaks.
  • If replacing an old filter, turn it ¼ turn to the left to remove it.
  • Insert the new filter into the filter head and turn it ¼ turn to the right until it locks into place, with the front label clearly visible.
  • Turn the water supply back on.
  • Flush the system by dispensing water for 10 minutes to remove any air and fine carbon particles.
  • For detailed steps, refer to the installation manual provided in the package or contact a licensed plumber/electrician.

Maintenance

  • Replace the filter after 3,000 gallons of use or 1 year, whichever comes first.
  • Flush the system by dispensing water for 10 minutes after replacing the filter.
  • Regularly inspect the system for any leaks in the water connections and ensure the water pressure is within the acceptable range (20–105 psi).
  • Clean the exterior of the unit with a soft cloth and mild detergent, avoiding abrasive cleaners.
  • If installed in an area prone to freezing, winterize the unit to protect the filter from damage.
  • For service or repairs, consult the manual or a certified service representative.
