Installation
- Turn off cold water supply and relieve pressure by opening faucet; disconnect power if connected to an appliance.
- Lift the handle of the built‑in shut‑off valve on the QL3 filter head to stop water flow.
- Hold filter head firmly; align the lug on the Everpure EV927086 cartridge with the label on the head.
- Insert EV927086 cartridge upward into head; rotate clockwise about 1/4 turn until fully seated.
- Lower shut‑off valve handle to restore water flow; open faucet and flush for at least 3 minutes to purge air and carbon particles.
- Check all connections for leaks; tighten fittings if necessary.
- Activate Everpure filter timer (Timestrip®) by pressing bubble until red line appears; adhere timer near installation site for replacement tracking.

Maintenance
- Replace the Everpure EV927086 cartridge every 3,000 gallons or 12 months, whichever comes first.
- Inspect braided tubing and fittings regularly; reseal or tighten connections as needed.
- Flush system after each cartridge replacement to ensure clean water flow.
- System is certified to NSF/ANSI 42 & 53 for chlorine, particulate, lead, and cyst reduction; performance may vary depending on local water conditions.
- Do not use with microbiologically unsafe water or water of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system.
- Disconnect power and water supply before servicing connected appliances to avoid hazards.
